Our AGM took place on Tuesday night last in the clubhouse and we would like to welcome Aiden O' Brien as our new President on a 3 year term and Dylan Stenson who takes over from yours truly as PRO. The club were presented with our Team of the Year award at the Longford Leader/Longford Live awards last weekend for our all conquering ladies senior team. This Saturday 10th of December is a red letter day in the club's history when all roads lead to Croke Park for the All Ireland Intermediate club final. The game is at 3pm against Munster champions Mullinahone and will be live on TG4. The club are also sending two supporters buses to the match, Tickets can be obtained by contacting any committee member, We wish our ladies the best of luck in their quest to land the All Ireland title and hope all Slashers supporters can make their way to Croke Park for this historic day.
