Win in Drumlish Flipeadóirí Longfoirt met Drumlish on Saturday evening last in the ACL Div 1 game coming away with the points in a well contested match. The score at half time favoured Slashers with a three point lead, though in the 2^nd half Drumlish came back into the game and threatened with a goal narrowing the lead. Slashers played some good team link up football and it was good to see a spread of players on the score sheet at the end of the match and a back line that is shaping into a unit. Training continues and players that are due to return from rugby commitments or elsewhere who may have been abroad are welcome to join training which is progressing well with a good atmosphere.
