Flipeadóirí Longfoirt traveled to Kilmacud for the competition which has grown into a really special event every year. Slashers were delighted to be invited and were drawn against Oliver Plunketts, Dublin, Bellaghy, Derry and Carryduff Down. Slashers had a core group of seniors who togged and the format really allows fast furious football with a huge fitness aspect. Slashers came away with a draw V Bellaghy and lost marginally to both Plunketts and Carryduff in what was a great days fun and enjoyment with lots of serious football versus serious players. The event was ideal to mix in youth and experience for the club and give more players the chance in playing these tournaments and showing our colours abroad.
