Flipeadóirí Longfoirt V Mullinaghta 5 May Flipeadóirí Longfoirt met Mullinaghta at home on Saturday evening last in the Bertie Allen Cup coming away with the points in a very evenly contested game. Slashers began the half well and points from the Clarke brothers Rúairí and Seán proved to be important in being ahead at half time. Danny Monks began well in goal and changed places with Daniel Doherty for the second half when Daniel made a class save from a penalty shot that decided the win for Slashers. The team worked well up the middle with Peter Brady solid at full back and Peter Lynn reading the game well at centre leaving lots of competition for places as we head for summer.
