Tosach maith leath na h-oibre - good game to start the season off on Sunday What a better way to begin the new season that to play the county champions in the first outing. This is a home match for Slashers and so the team is really looking forward to the opportunity to play instead of train on Sunday next. Training has been going nicely with young players coming into the team and all looking to make their mark as seniors. The first game of the year is a good time to lay down markers and begin the way you intend to continue. Eugene McCormack has done good work in preparing for the spring and so a good game is expected.
