Flipeadóirí Longfoirt - notes Senior League V St Mary’s Fileapoidóirí Longfoirt seniors played St Mary’s in Granard on Sunday last taking the points with a solid win 3-8 to 11pts. Slashers began with a young team which is a real confidence builder and important as the club looks to the future. Brian Walsh has found his best position at half back and bounded forward to notch up 1-2 which was a vital contribution. Daniel Doherty kept a clean sheet and was sound between the sticks. Cíarán Farrell was another one to shine scoring 1-3 with the other goal being provided by a reliable Robbie Clarke. Great to see Líam Barry (1pt), Rónan Sheehan and Daniel Kirby, young players on form with Líam getting on the score sheet.  well done to all.
