Pride of place this week goes to our Junior squad who defeated Ballymahon/Forgney on Wednesday night. In what was a cracking game, the ladies came from 6 points down half way through the first half to draw level by half time. In a very close fought second half, the ladies nudged ahead by a point in the last few minutes and held on for a 4-10 to 3-12 victory. They are now through to the championship final on 13th September against Dromard in Pearse Park. The U16's were in summer league semi final action against Killoe on Tuesday night and we we will have the result in next weeks notes. The U14 blues squad took on Carrickedmond in the summer league last week and won by 3-12 to 3-02.
