Congratulations to the county intermediate squad on their great win over Offaly in the Leinster intermediate championship final on Sunday last. This was to achieve the 3 in a row and both Claire Farrell and Ashling Cosgrove represented their club and county with great distinction as part of this young squad. Well done. Our U12s were in action on Tuesday night last but came out 2nd best in a high scoring game against Ballymahon by 5-01 to 7-09. Our U16 game did not take place. The new club website is up and running and is well worth a visit at www.longfordslashers.ie. There is a ladies section where all news, fixtures, results, photos etc. will be featured. It is a very comprehensive website for club activities from all sections of the club and should be of great benefit to all club members both at home and abroad.
