Our semi final in the minor championship took place in Slashers on Sunday morning against Carrickedmond. A good spell of play towards the end of the first half saw us establish a healthy lead at half time. We maintained our lead in the second half to secure our place in the minor final for another year. Our Senior team after beating both St. Pauls (Emo) Laois, and Kilcullen from Kildare in the Leinster Junior championship were eventually beaten in the Leinster semi final by Old Leighlin of Carlow. They did very well to reach this stage of the competition and we are very proud of them all. Winning the intermediate championship was a big boost this year and they now play in the senior championship next year.
