Our senior ladies team followed up on their great victory over Mostrim in their first Division 1 game the previous weekend with another win against Ballymore in the Gold cup on Sunday morning last. This was a hard fought game and after a good first half the girls had to dig deep before recording a good victory. Goals from Orla Nevin and Grace Shannon were crucial in this win. Best wishes to Ashling Smith who suffered a concussion during the game and had to go to hospital. She is recovering and we hope to see her on the playing fields again soon. We have a rearranged game against Carrickedmond away from home on Good Friday at either 1 or 2pm. We will have either a Division 1 or Gold cup game on SUnday morning at 11.30am. See fixture list for details. Underage training has now started on Friday evenings with the U10 & U12s at 6pm and the U14 & U16s at 7pm. The U12s have their first game of the year on Monday next 2nd April at 6.15pm at home to Ballymore.
