Solid start to the year
Flipeadóirí Longfoirt started off the 2015 campaign with a solid win at Fay Park on a beautiful spring Saturday evening. Signs were good from the start with a full dressing room and lots of eager players along the line ready to take their chance with the senior team. Stalwarts like Barry Gilleran, Dermot Brady, and Gareth Ghee backboned the team. The team was a good blend of youth and experience.
Goals by Andrew Dalton and Martin Nevin in each half tilted the game towards the home side. Fresh faces like Brian Walsh, Adrian Duffy and Tadhg Maher added pace to the team. It was the ideal start to the year.
