Longford U21s

Longford u21s put on a really feisty performance in Navan last night but came up short against all Ireland champions Dublin. Longford opened with fire and found the net on three occasions and were denied a certain goal at one stage which would certainly have rattled Dublin. The teams were level on 5 occasions and with 11mins to go Longford were ahead. Dublin had moved their half forward line to centre field and managed to crowd it, picking up breaking ball. Dublin ran out stronger in the end. Well done to all and the Longford back room team. Slashers men Colm Farrell and Andrew Dalton did the club proud and now return for club action.....beidh la eile.
