This Saturday our U18s will be aiming to retain the County Minor Hurling title and in doing so hope to capture a remarkable third championship in four years. Standing in the way once again are our rivals Wolfe Tones who won the Park House Hotel Perpetual Cup just two years ago. Indeed, last year's final between these two proud teams was an epic contest that wowed the small crowd in attendance. Many of these players will no doubt go on to represent their club and county with distinction at senior level in the near future. The match takes place in Keenan Park, Ardagh, at 12 noon. Our U13s have been participating in the Midnight League in Breffni Park in Cavan and are unbeaten in the competition to date. Next week is the final instalment of this blitz-based tournament.
