Mostrim up next – 8 August
Seniors - Flipeadóirí Longfoirt
ACL league game V St Columba’s took place at the Laurels on a wet pitch on Friday evening. A depleted Slashers lost to St Columba’s on the night by 4pts but importantly were able to give game time to aspiring players like Darren Flaherty, Niall Kelly, Conor Clarke, Andrew Kelly, Martin Nevin and Shane Rodgers. Trevor Clendenning and Peter Brady came off with injury while Peter Foy was unlucky to be black carded on the night. Midfield Niall Mulligan & Michael Brady assisted by Mark Diffley worked hard with Niall scoring some important frees.
