Nollaig Shona Happy Christmas to all our players and members, enjoy the season and we look forward to a prosperous year on the field in 2017. To all members returning locally for Christmas we look forward to meeting up again and to those that intend staying around for awhile please rejoin our training again in the new year we are always delighted to see players return with new ideas and enthusiasm. Winning a club championship begins in the cold January nights, when you are down two points playing against the wind with a few minutes on the clock, its the boys who committed in those conditions that will stand up to any test. Currently the seniors have a regular gym session going at week ends and anyone wishing to join in is welcome and can contact team captain Peter Brady or one of the squad for details. The parish review has some good coverage of activity during the year with some good pictures, you can pick up a copy at the Cathedral. Dónal Brady and Mícháel Walsh will step down as club officers at the AGM and we extend our appreciation to these esteemed club officials who have worked tirelessly over recent years on behalf of our club.
