Karl Murray (right) selected for Ireland Hurling/Shinty International

Congratulations to our own Karl Murray who has been named on the 18-man Ireland panel to face Scotland in the Hurling/Shinty International in Inverness this weekend. It's a great honour to represent your country as well as your club and county! We finished up for the season at the weekend with our U8s giving a tremendous account of themselves at the Roscommon County Blitz. It was held on Saturday in Lisnamult and hosted by our friends in the Roscommon Gaels club. Well done to all who travelled. Our U14/15s were also in action on Sunday playing Clonkill from Westmeath in what was an enjoyable match despite the inclement conditions. Special thanks to Carol Murray who provided much-needed tea and refreshments afterwards.
