Slashers ladies defeated Ballymore comprehensively in the Intermediate championship final on Saturday. They got off to a great start with a penalty by Jessica Barry in the first couple of minutes. They took control of the game and were leading 1-02 to 0-0 when Ballymore got two quick goals to bring them back into the game. However the ladies took over again and went in leading at half time by 2-08 to 2-0. They continued their dominance of the match in the second half to run out comprehensive winners by 5-18 to 2-02 with everyone playing very well. They will now compete in the senior championship next year. Well done Ladies.
