u21 V Colmcille
U21 home game on Friday night @ 8.30
Step up the u21 team to take on a very compact Colmcille team on Friday night to begin the championship 2015. Slashers have a good panel to choose from and this is a team with promise.
All the u21 teams are closely matched and usually the team that works hardest on the night pulls off the win. Daniel Doherty has had a good year and this is his time to shine at this grade. Adrian Duffy has had a year interrupted by injury but is now back to full pace and along with experienced Shane Rodgers, Rúairí Clarke and Patrick Farrell will be eager to play.
Brian Walsh will be full of football after missing the seniors year and forwards like Sean Clarke, Niall Kelly, Andrew Kelly and Colm Farrell have all seen game time with the seniors. Cian Kavanagh and Eoin Bartley are two players that have shown well all year and with Andrew Dalton returning at full pace there is lots to be positive about. Hugo Carey, Liam Barry, Cian Kavanagh, Ronan Sheehan, Ryan Mangan, Ben Ryan, Nathan Steele and Rory O Brien are all names that want to progress in the club and this is the level to announce their arrival.
Best of luck to the team on Friday night
